Chongqing Wulong Waste-to-Energy Power Plant Project Has Connected to the Grid for Power Generation

December, 17^th, 2021, Chongqing Wulong Waste-to-Energy power plant project, built by Sanfeng Covanta, has realized the first grid connection. 

Wulong Waste-to-Energy power plant project invested by Chongqing Sanfeng Environment Group is located in Wulong district, Chongqing, China. The capaciy is 900 t/d, divided into two phases of construction, the first phase of the project is 600 t/d, reserved the second phase of construction land. The first phase of the project is equipped with a 600 t/d reverse-acting grate manufactured by Sanfeng Covanta，medium temperature secondary high pressure heat recovery boiler and one set of 15MW turbine-generator. The flue gas purification treatment adopts the combined process of “SNCR furnace denitration, semi-dry reaction tower, dry deacidification (NaHCO₃),  activated carbon adsorption and baghouse filter”, the emission can meet the current EU standard. Completely realize the “minimization” ”recycling” ”harmless” treatment of domestic waste.
