Steady Construction Progress Made in Macao Refuse Incineration Project

       At the beginning of 2022, Sanfeng Covanta with its Macao project team wish you a Happy New Year.

The design and construction of PhaseⅢ MRIP is a key benchmark for Sanfeng Covanta along The Belt and Road and in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area .

To date, the construction drawing design is basically completed, and steady progress is made in building each plant.

The construction of the pile foundation of the waste bunker is coming to an end, and the construction of the pile foundation of the steam turbine room is completed; the roof of the new special and hazardous waste treatment station is basically completed, and the installation of major equipment is completed; the bottom plate of the new administrative building is poured; the interior decoration of the new substation is basically completed.

       The design of the Project adopts international standards such as Macao, Europe and the United States, and has strict requirements for the application of design documents for review. As the design party for the Project, Sanfeng Covanta gives the professional advantages of its design team a full play, actively communicates and effectively coordinates with the owner and consultants, and strictly complies with the technical requirements of the contract. At the same time, in the face of such unfavorable factors as the small construction site and complicated procedures, Sanfeng Covanta makes full use of its rich EPC project construction experience and strong resource integration capabilities to coordinate with all parties in the consortium to carefully plan, and strive to stagger the civil engineering and electromechanical installation operations so as to ensure construction safety and operational efficiency. 

       In the New Year, the mechanical and electrical equipment installation of the Project is about to start. Sanfeng Covanta will adhere to the quality concept of "high quality and high standard", use BIM technology to create a smart construction site, and build PhaseⅢ MRIP into a modern demonstration project to maximize social, environmental and economic benefits in Macao S.A.R.
