Macao Refuse Incineration Phase III Project, the first steel frame of the waste heat boiler has been successfully constructed.
On March, 2023, the successful construction of the first steel frame of the waste heat boiler, designed, manufactured and installed by Sanfeng Covanta, marked the official entry into the large-scale equipment installation stage of the project. To ensure the successful implementation of this node, the Macao project team has planned ahead and managed scientifically, deploying meticulous arrangements in all aspects, including scheme preparation, technical clarification, quality supervision, construction preparation and safety measures, ultimately achieving the node objective ahead of schedule.
The Macao Refuse Incineration Phase III Project is scheduled to be completed and put into operation in June 2024, with a total investment of 2.567 billion MOP. It will process 1,300 tons of household waste per day and generate approximately 400 million kWh of electricity per year. Once completed, the project will effectively solve the waste treatment problem in the Macao.
Sanfeng Covanta will continue to uphold the noble concept of "high quality and high standards". Through digital technology and BIM application, we will promote installation engineering, overcome various difficulties, and strive to build the project into a green and energy saving demonstration project of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area（GBA）.
